Country Breakfast

4 servings

1  cup uncooked brown rice
1/8  teaspoon salt
3 1/2  cups water
1/2  cup raisins
1  teaspoon cinnamon

1.  Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
2.  Bring to a boil, stirring once or twice.
3.  Reduce heat to a low simmer.
4.  Cover and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid mostly absorbed, about 45 minutes.
5.  Let rest in pan, covered, for another 10 minutes.
6.  Serve with milk and brown sugar.
